Dark Chocolate Stout Lava Cakes
- 4 oz dark chocolate, chopped
- 2 tbsp butter, softened
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 large eggs
- Pinch of salt
- 3 tbsp flour
- 2 tbsp stout
Preheat oven to 425 °F. Spray two 4-ounce ramekins with non-stick spray and place them on a baking sheet.
Place the dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave to melt. Stir until completely melted. Add the butter and whisk to combine. Add sugar and mix well. Add in the eggs and whisk until smooth. Finally add the salt, flour and stout and whisk until smooth. Pour into ramekins, filling each about ⅔ full. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for about 11 minutes. Remove from the oven and run a knife around the inside of the ramekin to loosen the cake. Let the cakes cool for a minute before turning them out onto plates to serve. Serve with ice cream.
