  • 1 ½ pounds boneless beef chuck roast, cut into cubes
  • 3 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 ½ cups carrots, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 celery rib, chopped
  • 1 large garlic clove, minced
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 can condensed tomato soup
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp browning sauce
  • 2 tsp beef bouillon granules
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Add first 12 ingredients to the slow cooker and stir to combine. Cover and cook on low until the meat is tender (about 6-8 hours).

Create a slurry with cornstarch and ¾ cup water and mix until smooth.

  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 3/4 cup cold water
  • 2 cups frozen peas, thawed

Gradually add to slow cooker. Stir in peas and cook on high until thick (about 30 minutes).
